Royal has been recognised for world-class production standards with the award of the contract to be the Official Home Furniture Exclusive Supplier of the Beijing 2008 Olympics, announced in March 2007 by the Beijing Organising Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG).

Royal will supply more than 100,000 pieces of furniture to BOCOG, providing home furniture for the Olympic villages, manufacturing everything that the world’s best athletes will be using everyday while they are participating in the Games.

In a tender that competed against internationally renowned furniture manufacturers, Royal's success has been due not only to the company's excellent position in the Chinese domestic market, but due to stringent criteria that demanded excellence in quality, reliability and the ability to deliver.

Bringing a taste of the Olympics to the general public, Royal launched the new 'Olympic Home' series in June 2007. Matching the strict quality standards demanded by the Olympic committee, Royal's new range emphasises Green Living, Environmental Friendliness and Health.

    14,000 sofas
With thousands of living rooms to furnish, not only for the Olympic villages, but also for the Media villages and administrators' apartments, the Royal group will be providing healthy and comfortable seating for everyone participating in the international event.
